OK, if you haven’t figured it out yet Mary Elizabeth is going to be a big sister, which makes Andy and I parents again! Yep, wow!!! Baby Raia #2 is on the way and due to arrive December 4th, which makes me 9 weeks today. I am pretty much telling everyone at this point. We’ve seen 2 sonograms and heard the heartbeat and all seems to be well thus far. We will wait til the end of the 1st trimester to break the news to the big boss. Good thing he doesn’t read this site! Anyway, if you know him by chance- don’t tell him!
Funny thing is, some of you who didn’t read the top of the first page of this site, thought I was already pregnant long ago- though that was not the case at all. We only started thinking and praying for it a few months ago or so. But now, we will put a 3rd spot. Not because I’m having twins (no there is only one in there)… but because there will always be an open spot for future children, as we never know what God has in store, as mentioned.
For those of you who might be wondering, I am not going to find out the gender for this baby either. I like surprises and to keep you all guessing. If it is a boy, his name will be Andrew Scott, Jr. and if it is a girl, her name will be Natalie Grace.
With that, we must add… if it is a boy, we will not call him Andy at all! Though he will be named after his father, we don’t want him to have the same nickname. So it’s your choice to call him Andrew, Drew, cutie pie or whatever- (preferring Andrew) just refrain from using the name Andy… thank you in advance.
Mary Elizabeth will be 2 ½ yrs old when this baby is born. I was due June 4th with her, and now December 4th with this one. Kinda funny huh! It’s great spacing apart and in our eyes perfect, so we are truly blessed.
Lastly, I’m going to write this here, in hopes of not having to be asked at all… But as most of you should know, Mary Elizabeth’s condition was not genetic, there is no known cause for it, and it is random and rare. So therefore, the answer is No, we do not suspect any complications this time around. Mary Elizabeth did help to show us that life is so precious and should not be taken for granted, anything can go wrong at any time. So we will put our trust in God, and whatever is meant to be, will be.
