3 Months old!

Andrew is now 3 months old! Momma’s little boy is getting so big! He gained about 2 lbs and grew an inch and a half-
he’s 13 lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long.
Getting to be a big boy but still my little peanut. Fortunately for me he’s stayed in 0-3 months clothing for now- but I have a feeling he’ll be moving up before we know it.

So he experienced his first snow as you can see by the photo (and no, I didn’t cut my hair- half of it is in my jacket). He didn’t seem to bothered by being out there in the snow. He just didn’t really want to be in the sled I put him and his sister in for long. But I think he enjoyed snuggling with me out there watching the snow come down.
Nonethless we enjoyed ourselves on his 3 month old birthday.
Looking at this picture it still seems surreal that now I have two little kids. They are so cute in their pink and blue snowsuits!

So baby Andrew is becoming increasingly alert and interactive. He loves to "talk" and can get quite loud with his coo’s sometimes- even a little yell like "hey I’m here" but then sometimes it’s soft subtle coo’s like he’s mr. cool. It’s so cute when he crinkles up his nose while cooing and gives you a big smile!
He’s been reaching at/batting his toys and grabbing things a lot lately. I always find him chewing on his blanket that he pulls up to his mouth. He likes to suck on his hand too. As for the pacifier, he can take it or leave it at this point. Sometimes when mommy isn’t around and he is done eating- he’ll need the pacifier to soothe him to sleep but he can normally go without it.

We certainly have to watch him now because we find him up on his side a little – getting closer to rolling over. So before ya know it he’ll be doing that too.

He forgets he’s still a newborn and like his sister was- does not at all like being in the laying position when he’s awake and being held. He wants to sit up like everyone else and check everything out. 🙂

He absolutely loves his baths, and Mary Elizabeth loves to help with them. He likes to be free of clothing and diapers too!

All in all it’s going well, he’s eating good, sleeping rather well too. He has his fussy times and well he will scream his head off if he’s hungry and you make him wait. But he’s a good, happy, growing baby boy!
