Drew is 4 months old today!
And yes, we weighed him and measured him. He’s up to 15 lbs 4 oz and is 24 inches
long. He’s now into his 3-6 month clothing, yet some 0-3 pants still
fit or things that run big. We are getting good use out of his clothing
– which is good because he’s already got a lot!
He’s doing great
with sleeping. As a matter of fact he went from 9:30pm to 5:30am
straight last night and barely woke up for a quick feed and back to
sleep til 8:30am. So I figure that’s pretty good! We don’t really stay
up when he eats in the middle of the night anyway- I know 5:30am is not
the middle of the night for some people but in my book it is! haha.
Naps
he’s getting pretty good about, I often feed him, lay him in the crib
sometimes he plays and falls asleep- sometimes cries for a couple
minutes and then sleeps but either way he does well. And well the
carseat and a car ride are always a great for putting him to sleep too!

He
still cries like there’s no tomorrow if he’s hungry, and he does get
bored and antsy at times, but overall he’s pretty good. He is not
rolling over quite yet, but he’s like his sister was about that, he
never wants to lay down so it’s not like he has time to practice. Like
Mary Elizabeth, he wants to sit up or stand and be a big-boy. He likes
his bumbo and will sit in
it and look around. His head control is really great, as it has been
all along. And he really sits up well and when laying down or back a
little attemps to pull himself up. Drew has gotten into his toys and is
putting everything in his mouth and drooling some so maybe early signs
of teething. He is babbling away and likes to get really loud so we all
can hear him. He really loves his sister and watches everything she
does. He’s very inquisitive and studies things… a bit like his father
maybe. 😉
I definitely have to watch it with the tv, he will go to
great lengths to watch it- such a man! haha, so we try to keep it off a
lot around him as to not make him an addict. But once in a while will
let him watch praise baby during some desperate times.

All in all he’s doing great and we look forward to his 4 month check up
on Wednesday, probably going to get the go ahead on starting with rice
cereal. Stay tuned to see how he likes it!
