Drew is 5 months old!! Time is flying and I don’t really want him to grow up quite yet. haha.
He’s doing well, he now weighs 16 lbs. 3oz. and is 25 inches long. So he’s in 3-6 month clothing and fitting in it well.
He’s
rolling all over the place as mentioned. And he’s showing off his tummy
muscles left and right. He sat up unassisted for about 5-10 seconds the
other day so I’m sure that’s coming. He sits well assisted anyway. Of
course sometimes he needs propping still but he’s young yet. When he is
laying down he’s constantly doing "crunches" and he’s nearly pulled
himself up from laying down. He’s working out those abs- that’s for
sure!
He’s
teething up a storm and is always drooling, having his hands in his
mouth, sticking out his tongue too. Just an oral mess – and I’m sure
he’ll pop a tooth out sooner or later. One or two cranky times due to
this but not really too bad.
We started him on cereal yesterday too-
and well he really didn’t take to it too well. I’m sure he’ll like it
eventually but right now he’s just like WHAT IS THAT – EWWWW!!!

Drew
was just christened on Sunday, 2 days ago. It was a blessed day, he was
a little angel and did so great for not sleeping so much. He just knew
it was his day. He looked adorable too. The ceremony was wonderful – we
played a short video/slideshow testimony, then my brothers and husband
played the worship music at the church- songs chosen by myself (titles
were- Beyond Measure, Blessed be the Name, Everlasting God, Majesty,
and Give Me Jesus). And the church service was great. The sermon seemed
to coordinate with our testimony in trusting in the Lord. So all was
well. I’ll be sure to show off more pictures but for now here’s the
photo we took to put in his favor frames.
